More than two
million men and women are trapped within the boredom and violence
of the U.S. prison system for their crimes against society.
We
are directed by the Savior to visit those in prison. He said
in Matthew 25:36, "I was in prison and you came to visit
me." When asked, "When did we see you ... in prison?"
Jesus replied, "Whatever you did for one of the least of
these brothers of mine, you did for me." (See verses 39,40,
NIV.)
This ministry cannot
be forsaken. The success of the Pentecostal Evangel
prison ministry is proven. Men and women are coming to Christ
because caring people have provided copies of the magazine.
As many as 14,000
copies of the Pentecostal Evangel are supplied each
week to prisoners. It costs more than $3,000 weekly to sponsor
this number.
Will you help
us send the Pentecostal Evangel into a prison
cell?
Typically, each copy
is read by many prisoners. It has been reported that four prisoners
accepted Christ as a result of reading the same copy of the
Evangel.
Letters are received
almost daily from prisoners telling us they accepted Christ
as a result of reading the magazine. We need your help not only
to continue this ministry, but to expand it.
The key is to keep
the presses rolling long enough to print the extra copies needed
for prison ministry.
Please prayerfully
consider what you can do to unlock the door to eternal life
for hundreds of prisoners.
Your gift of $1
a week will send approximately 200 copies behind bars for one year.
A donation of $4 per week provides 800 copies to inmates annually.
